Voice Lessons

To begin the process of signing up for lessons, fill out the form on the contact page. I will reach out to you with information about my full written policy and schedule a time for an intro lesson. The purpose of the intro lesson is multiple. First, for you to get to know me and how I operate; Second, for me to meet the student (and parent if student is a minor) and make sure we are a good fit; and Third, to discuss the purpose of lessons, test pervious knowledge and ability, and to get an idea of where to start in the education process.

Lessons will be either 30 minutes or 45 minutes. Length will be based on age, level, and preference. I have experience teaching both kids and adults and welcome students of all ages and histories.

Each term will include one additional group lesson hosted by myself and may include guest educators or adjudicators. There may also be performance opportunities throughout the year, in addition to the “year end” recital in the spring.

Students should have time set aside daily in a quiet space to practice. Students should also be ready to commit to a daily practice session, which is essential for improvement. Each lesson will end with weekly assignments, and students are expected to work on and complete assignments before the following week’s lesson.

My tuition rates are as follows:

45 minute lesson: $45 ($180 for a 4 week month)

30 minute lesson: $30 ($160 for a 4 week month)

In addition to the tuition, there is an annual registration and administration fee of $50 for new students and $35 for returning students to help cover administration tasks and costs for group lessons, recitals, and other shared events. The registration fee must be received to hold your preferred lesson time. I work on a first come, first served basis.
