My Background

With a Bachelor of Arts in Music (Voice) from Trinity Western University (TWU) and completed studies in pedagogy for both piano and voice, I bring a well-rounded and structured approach to music instruction. My musical journey began early, with 12 years of piano lessons and 9 years of voice training, allowing me to develop a deep understanding of both those instruments and musical theory. Over the past 18 years as a pianist, I have honed my skills in performance, technique, and musical expression.

Teaching Experience

I have 2+ years of experience teaching music, working with students of varying skill levels. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your technique, my lessons are tailored to fit your individual learning style and goals. I emphasize foundational skills, musicality, and personal expression, making lessons both educational and enjoyable.

Performance & Community

Beyond teaching, I stay actively involved in the music community. I have participated in multiple choirs and music ensembles, touring and competing internationally with a variety of groups. My experience in performance at various levels enhances my ability to guide students not only in technical proficiency but also in stage presence and confidence.
